What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a technique used to evaluate nutritional needs and make recommendations for dietary changes, helping clients balance body chemistry and achieve optimal wellness. As opposed to obsessive dieting yo-yo dieting, calorie restriction, or unnecessary pharmaceutical intervention, nutritional therapy focuses on the five foundations of health, as well as a properly prepared nutrient-dense diet to achieve optimal health and wellness.

What does a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner do?
A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is trained to evaluate a client’s nutritional needs and make recommendations of dietary change and nutritional supplementation based on the following:
-
Health History
-
Analysis of Client’s Food and Mood Journal
-
Nutritional Assessment
I also offer genetic testing through Nutrition Genome!
During your appointment, we will discuss your current nutritional status and you will be educated on a properly prepared nutrient-dense diet. After your appointment, you will be given diet, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations. Follow-up appointments are available. You can also get continued support via private Facebook group.
A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is not trained nor licensed to diagnose or treat pathological conditions, illnesses, injuries, or diseases. If you suffer from a medical or pathological condition, you need to consult with an appropriate healthcare provider. A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is not a substitute for your family physician or other appropriate healthcare provider.
